Building Information Modeling (BIM) is an integrated model-based process involving the generation and management of digital representations of physical and functional characteristics of places. It significantly helps plan, design, construct and manage buildings beyond the Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) process.
TAKE A CLOSER LOOKWe briefly highlighted the utilization of Building Information Modeling within our 2015 interview filmed by LMV Productions. The intention was to quickly showcase how you can move around the 3D Home that we generate for our construction documentation. The added benefit to you is your permit set is seamlessly generated from the model itself so there is no additional time or costs associated with what you might hire an architect for to begin with. Not sure if you even should hire an architect? See our Frequently Asked Questions to find out why. Check out our interview and watch for the 3D Model of the Featured Project above.
WANT TO SEE MORE?We'd be happy to talk with you about the quality and extent of what BIM can do for you!
Feel free to Contact Us to find out more about our Services and our past projects. Every firm has its fair share of software subscriptions but we'll highlight the major ones we utilize and for what. For the most part we remain on an innovative path for recent releases of our primary production tools like Autodesk Revit, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. ITS ALL ABOUT QUALITY AND EFFICIENCYOne aspect that sets our Services above the competition is our commitment utilizing technology. Understanding that being stuck in the same program to provide the same services simply because you are more proficient at it ... is simply not expanding the quality of your services. We stay on the latest releases for our software packages. Always testing out new versions and giving a 3 month period before we decide that the platform is stable enough to avoid conflicts with our current project deadlines and commitments. A fear that prevents most from adapting. One thing About Us is we have 10 years of technology implementation within the fields of architecture, engineering, interior design, marketing and construction management that help us adapt quickly to new possibilities, trends and developing best practices and procedures.
HOW DO WE CONTINUE TO STAY ON TOP?We often participate in and emphasize collaborations with other design professionals as well as enter additional design competitions to not only keep our creative approach sharp but to refine our utilization of technology both existing platforms and new ones. Check out a few examples of projects we've collaborated on in our Competitions portfolio. We want to continuously enhance our abilities practicing the tools of our trade. All the time. Ever when small projects do not require much creative exploration, we seek out additional design competitions to participate in to make more efficient our creative design thinking.
From project management tools such as BillQuick software, SketchUp modeling, to simple sketching programs like Autodesk Sketchbook Pro ... We are always reviewing past projects to find areas of improvement. This practice ensures that we do not continue to repeat any quality of service for our clients and that we build upon the last to offer the next client an even better experience when visualizing and exploring their design project. For a few more details on some software packages we use to help us be more efficient:
If you would like to know more about the programs we listed above or how we utilize them further, please Contact Us and we'll be happy to share our experiences.
Especially if you are a student or emerging designer, we'll give you some more perspective into why we've settled on these platforms over the many others that we've done extensive research on. You can also find a past post on BQE Software here: Launched in 2015 as a platform to merge design inspiration with professional consultation ...
We generally keep things organized into the follow categorizes: It is our belief that far too often individuals think design is a luxury they cannot afford and thereby potentially miss opportunities to better improve their personal surroundings.
