Its official, we wrapped up our very first home show this past weekend. Overall we saw a great turn out and got to speak with many interested homeowners, business owners and developers. What was great about exhibiting at this year's New England Home Show in Boston at the Seaport World Trade Center was being able to quickly showcase our Services to those who were interested and feature our Portfolio of projects as reference. LONG, LONG DAYS OF EXHIBITINGGiven our work environment features more online collaboration through multiple consultants and designers, I wanted to best represent the company as the architect available for questions. What surprised me a little was how "impressed" some people were that I wasn't a Sales Rep for the company in comparison to many of the other design / build firms that were present. I had one guy come up to me and say "So your Neil? Your the guy? Hey, he's the guy!"
FRIDAY, WAS A SLOW DAYThe start to the home show was a little slow considering it was during work hours. However it gave us an opportunity to not only recover from the "tools free" setup but also to sketch some images.
OVERALL A GREAT TIMEI got a chance to meet many people interested in a forthcoming project (hopefully they reach out to me) and we'll see what 2016 brings 8TFive Studio.
Once again a special thanks to Chris with Stonefish Workshop for assisting with the design of our exhibit booth graphic and web banner. Find our more about the company as one of our consultants we featured in the following: You can also find the video displayed at our booth featured here: |
