We recently had our architectural photographer, Christian Scully from Design Imaging Studios, help us document the new construction home we designed last year in East Freetown, MA. The project is currently our Featured Residential project where you can find more information about the project, length of construction and other design concepts that went into the house. Plus more photos of the interior and exterior. The balance between private and public areas were important as well as family function and solar orientation on the project. You'll find some details about how they were addressed in the design.
The large family room has vaulted ceiling with large southern facing windows. The idea for the space was to be spacious enough to accommodate a wide range of furniture layouts depending upon family functions. It also serves as a naturally well lite space to gather without the need for additional lighting. So you can spend time longer without the need for lights. To find out more about the project that we had photographed see the Featured Residential page.
You can also find past posts about the progress of construction and design here: We have been working for years with the designer and owner, Alan Case, of a revolutionary product called HushFrame Raft Connectors. From assisting on the early development of the product website to modeling and animating marketing material, the process has been an ongoing collaboration between the inventor's vision and our efforts to help visually represent them. Our main Services included modeling product components and then animating assemblies into a nice presentable video that should be shared online and during the conference. This year will be the first that the product line of HushFrame Raft Connectors 200, 300 and 400 series will be showcased at this year's ABx Conference in Boston, MA in partnership with New England Soundproofing as its distributor. SO WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL? WE'LL TELL YOU ...The HushFrame Raft Connectors silence the noise from any adjacent room and protects you against any vibration or sound waves from interrupting your peace and quiet. There are other products out in the market, but none as effective and highly rated as HushFrame. SIMPLE AND EASY TO INSTALL FLOOR OR WALL ASSEMBLIESHushFrame Raft Connectors are simple to install with nails, screws, or adhesives making them trade and consumer friendly. They can be re-positioned easily, removed and reused if desired.
HushFrame is the 'Strong Silent Type'HushFrame Raft Connectors are the solution where load bearing is of concern...They carry at least twice the load of competing technologies while simultaneously holding the noise at bay. The Strong Silent Type of decoupling structural connectors. Have any more questions about the product or interested in using them ... See their Frequently Asked Questions page or Contact HushFrame directly. Our Further Role in Animating the ProductWe also developed a detailed animation for the specific display at the ABx Conference in Boston. The video was meant to showcase the product's utilization and for viewers to hear the difference! Just an additional note to make sure its absolutely clear that this is NOT an 8TFive Studio product however we do believe it is a fantastic simple device that when you hear it in action, does wonders. We provided ONLY the visualization representation and animations to the product that Alan Case at Building Component Development, LLC had developed and coined HushFrame Raft Connectors.

We have been working with a non-profit client of ours for about 3 years now on multiple projects that they require assistance on evaluating and designing potential enhancements to their facilities. The latest is our Featured Commercial project if you are interested in further details. Given the nature of the work they do we are pleased to be able to assist them in any way, shape or form we can to help better their organization in helping others in need. Find out how an architect can assist in our Frequently Asked Questions They contacted us about reviving a previous concept renovation we had completed last year. Rather than just renovate one of their buildings on campus, an addition would be added on as well. 8TFive Studio began researching building code compliance against local state and city zoning regulations to advise them on how to maximize the building use for added value in dorm rooms.
A COMMITMENT TO OUR CLIENTSWe love seeing returning clients seek additional work with us. Not only does it mean we were able to provide a great experience and well designed Service but we get a chance to do it again!
