I was recently referred to a business networking group called Business Networking International (BNI) as a way to grow contacts and referrals. We attended several meetings in the area in New Bedford, Lakeville and Wareham and highly recommend it to other growing businesses. SEE ALSO: Rhode Island Builder's Association Open House
PROVEN MODEL OF SUCCESSOnce again just talking to current and even past members, the success of building exposure to the business seems to be worth the investment in time and expenses. This was an important issue for what we were considering in a networking group. We didn't want to waste our time or join a group that would hardly see a return on investment. BNI seemed like it would be the greatest value with the most success generating leads.
KNOWLEDGE SHARINGWe're happy to share our experiences in detail on either BNI group specifically or just about the other networking events and groups we've visited.
Feel free to Contact Us if you'd like to know more. To engage more individuals in the business of construction, we decided to attend an open house at the Rhode Island Builder's Association. One suggestion that came from our marketing consultant Taylor Kloss was to attend more networking events. Even though its one of those things you know you should do but just need to have someone tell you to get out there ... well this was one of those situations. In addition to providing educational opportunities and resources for professionals, Rhode Island Builder's Association (RIBA) had a great assembly of individuals associated with the field of construction. It is definitely an organization we will be considering joining especially to participate in the well attended annual Rhode Island Home Show convention hosted by RIBA. NEW CLIENT AFTER EVENTAs a result of attending the open house at RIBA, we were able to connect with a property management company that was in need of some architectural documentation work.
Once they found out more About Us and our Services we began work on their project. SEE ALSO: Providence, Rhode Island Office Measurement Project |
