A non-profit organization that has reached, rescued and restored men from the grip of drug and alcohol addition was in need of a facility upgrade. The project required an expansion of an existing community center to accommodate new dorm units with a substantial renovation to two buildings to increase maximum occupancy. Previous investigations included a renovation to another property owned facility to convert a functioning car wash to house some on-site dorms as well as administrative offices. Other investigations included a renovation to an existing administration office for dormitory housing while another property was being considered for acquisition into the overall master plan. Extensive build code research was done and several design options proposed to the client on how best to utilize the existing space they had. Ultimately after an existing conditions report was generated for the facility, bathroom renovations were needed to serve increased occupancy. Service Often times additional services were included at little to no added costs that helped internal operations evaluate and assess the proposals. Quick turn around times were also instrumental in ensuring tight deadlines were met. Details An ongoing client relationship is continuing to develop and meet the needs of the non-profit's additions and renovation plans to enhance and expand the facilities. |
